Since its launch at Labelexpo back in 2017, Hamillroad's Bellissima DMS has transitioned from an innovative technology to a globally adopted flexo solution in the label and flexible packaging supply chain. By developing a unique patented screening technology, called digitally modulated screening, we have achieved remarkable outcomes,delivering stunning image definition (equivalent to 300-450lpi), perfect fades, lifelike texture, and exceptional shadow depth, with highlight dots down to 1%. We have overcome limitations of conventional screening, including moire, visible rosettes, color shifts, broken dots and challenges with small tinted,and reverse text, driving flexographic printing to new heights. Expanded Color Gamut (ECG) printing is the practice of using a set of 4 or more inks (typically 7) to achieve a larger color range: Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black (CMYK) plus Orange, Green, and Violet (OGV). This provides a wider gamut than that of CMYK alone and is also used as a solution in place of spot colors.
